1. Why browser storage is used
Browser storage connects the current browser to anonymous work, keeps an authenticated profile session, remembers the selected language and current product context, and protects unsent changes after a network failure.
3. Local storage
When a server write fails, PackNavi stores the pending specification change under a versioned first-party local-storage key. It retries the write with later saves and removes the queued data after successful synchronization.
Because pending values may include product or packaging information, anyone with access to the browser profile may potentially access them. Clearing site data removes the local queue and can remove recovery credentials before synchronization.
4. Consent and optional analytics
Google Analytics is blocked by default. Accept and reject are available on the first banner layer; detailed settings explain the necessary and optional categories. The selection is stored for up to 180 days.
The implementation uses Google Consent Mode with analytics_storage granted only after consent. ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain denied.
5. Your controls
The privacy-settings button remains available on every page. It allows consent to be changed or withdrawn as easily as it was granted; withdrawal disables further measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Browser settings can also display, block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential values may prevent anonymous continuation, login, language memory or recovery of queued changes.
